Terms of service

Last updated: October 19, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Fluent app and website, operated by Brilliance Mobility ("we"). By using Fluent you agree to them.

Drive safely; Fluent describes, it doesn't advise

Fluent tells you about road features it has measured, such as rough surfaces, potholes, sharp curves and steep grades. It doesn't tell you how to drive. Its information can be incomplete, out of date or wrong: roads change, and measurements from phones are imperfect. Always watch the road, follow traffic laws and signs, and drive for the conditions. Don't handle the phone while driving; set it up before you start.

Your account

An account is optional. If you create one, keep access to your sign-in method secure and tell us if you think someone else is using it. You can delete your account at any time in the app.

Your data

Your trips remain yours. You give us the rights we need to store, process and show them to you, and to improve the service. Anonymous road data from drives is combined with other drivers' data to map road conditions, as described in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Fluent: no attempts to break into or overload the service, to upload false data on purpose, or to use it in ways that break the law.

The service

Fluent is provided "as is" and may change, pause or stop. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on the app's information.

Changes

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
